The Iron Skillet has been an institution on Indy’s westside
for 65 years now! Just about any westsider will remember going to Mother’s Day,
Father’s Day, Easter or maybe a wedding dinner at this wonderful restaurant on
a bluff overlooking White River, Riverside Park and Coffin Golf Course. Also right across the street from Indy's Soap Box Derby hill. The restaurant
serves family style dinners with American fare – steak, mashed potatoes and
gravy, chicken, green beans, creamy onion soup, corn, etc. It’s well worth a
